When aggregating all members’ apprenticeship numbers, it has been established that the community of organisations are currently delivering in excess of 25,000 apprenticeship placements across multiple disciplines, all with the construction and built environment arena.
With membership numbers within the CCATF rapidly approaching 200, the aims of the organisation is to support organisations with advice and guidance on all matters connected with the successful delivery of apprentices.
Speaking about the results of the survey, CCATF Chair, Martyn Price, MBE, commented “we view this outcome as extremely positive. The CCATF has an ambition to increase both the quality and improve the quantity of apprenticeships within the sector. Additionally we seek to challenge or membership to consider a more diverse breadth of delivery.
We help organisations understand these opportunities and in so doing we are supporting both up-skilling within our industry and improving the employment opportunities for young people and career changers at a time of considerable need.
The CCATF continues to champion engagement with apprentices as a means by which construction companies can meet existing skills gaps and future proof the business with young talent. Membership of the CCATF is free and open to both construction businesses and those who in any support the provision of apprenticeships within the construction sector across the UK.
